Actually they want 1500. They believe the number of elk and deer will support that many..if hunting is curtailed of course. The governor's husband told me he would welcome them in Boulder County to show how people and wolves can coexist.

No way is a highly controversial wolf introduction that already has numbers set and has already gone through the public debate phase before approval going to just raise the population objective....oh...wait.... that's exactly what happened last time wolves were introduced in the west.

With 750 wolves, they will be in Boulder County soon enough, along with all the counties on the front range. Too much easy access prey on the front range.
