I don’t recall seeing as many fawns hit on the road as I have seen this year. Almost everyday I see at least 3 or 4 - had to drive to Frederick, MD one day and then take our youngest daughter back to WVU - saw over a dozen each trip.

That's odd, around here we hardly even get pics of them, too many bears & yotes?

It has just really surprised me how many fawns I am seeing on the side of the road that have been hit by vehicles. It’s all over - on our drive down to Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago - even saw a ton of them hit along the drive. Just seems to be more young ones being killed this year for some reason.

Wv mountaineer- yea I know what you mean sort of thought that as well at first but guess my memory is failing me I just don’t remember seeing this many roadkill fawns when deer numbers were high. LOL I am older now and memory is out the door anymore I guess….
