Where do you begin in YORK? 1st time hunting in PA. Are there any real chances on public land or is the reality just find a farm?

Don't know anything about York, but if you want to meet some folks and have a good time hunting the early season around the Kutztown Area, check out the thread about the UBP 5C Hunt. We have had folks from York in the past.
If you are interested, PM me and I will get you all the pertinent info. The hunt takes place Sept 22-24............................

I'm not sure what public land is available in York, but speaking from experience, if you talk to 10 farmers, you'll probably get one who will give you permission to bow hunt.
