How is the deer population in the Brainerd area. I have an opportunity to hunt there this fall.

Dale, north of Brainerd up by Crosslake, the wolves have decimated the heard.

Thanks inshart. This land is south east of Brainerd about 15-20 miles. Maybe lots of wolves there also?

Not many wolves southeast of Brainerd it's more open farming and swampy area. They can be anywhere, and definitely go through that area but it's not as bad as some.

Son has had game cams up since Oct. so far one wolf on them, and quite a few coyotes.
