I checked a stand today and have a nice rub and a well used trail 25 yards away. I hope to get out before the weekend.

Hunted Grundy County on 10/21 and had a great shot at a great buck. Unfortunately the string on my Mission Sub 1 crossbow broke. Found out from the archery shop they have been seeing the same issue with other Mission crossbow users who are using Victory XBolts with lighted nocks. Apparently the pin in the nock that actuates the light causes misfires similar to when a crossbow is dry fired resulting in breaking the string and in some cases the cable as well. Will no longer be shooting the Victory lighted nocks.

I went on monday. It was windy and warm but had a little 4 pt come by at dark. It should get better next week.
