24 degrees in Norfolk this am. Last night I put my boots near the kitchen door to warm up instead of keeping them in vehicle. I drive wearing Crocs and get changed after I park. Unfortunately my boots are home, nice and warm in the kitchen. I drove an hour to get here so I decided to slip on the ankle strap in case things get western. On a brighter note, all 5 acorns that fell in CT this season appear to have been stored in my blind by a chipmunk

It might be good luck, Na8, i shot a buck wearing my crocs in early Nov, I did the same thing, forgot the boots at home. Made for a slippery drag out, but a good friend stepped up!

Sport-mode, Ace?
When the dermatologist freezes suspicious spots on my face, they turn red then black then scab up and fall off. I suspect this will be the fate of my toes next week

If you get a deer today, those Crocs will be needed to be worn at all future hunts. Good luck.

Flip the croc strap back is like putting them in 4 wheel drive! I dropped my gloves when I got into my stand this morning. I held out for 2 hours before I had to climb down to get them. Half way back up, I looked over my shoulder to see a basket rack watching me...

Uneventful sit. Made it until 10. Toes coming back on line. Thinking I may get a white pair for ice fishing….

Pretty much any footware trumps Crocs… except maybe flip flops. The trick for me is remembering to bring them

I had a revelation yesterday morning while on stand and had freezing toes. Electric socks. Why the hell have I not thought of this before? I found a brand that has 4 settings, a rechargeable battery and a wireless remote. Lowest setting they say the battery will last 8-10 hours. $125.

AP I found heated insoles on Amazon also. I may go that route. Wear my regular Darn Tough wool socks still.
