Hate it when a buck ruins a hunt!

I was out since 1pm and 10 minutes before sunset 3 does were coming in. At this point I just want to get some meat in the freezer. I was getting ready to draw when a buck cruised in and they started running. Then he had the nerve to stand there for 10 minutes just out of range. It was a fun night!

I would take that as a great hunt.

Another close call today but had the shotgun. Deer got between me and the road so was wishing I had my bow for an easy 20 yard shot. Was walking and still hunting today on my land. Deer are definitely moving you just have to find the browse and green fields.

That's a good night when the blood starts pumping.
