Earlier this month my son and I both enjoyed a successful trip to Iowa. It took us 5 years to draw our tags but we weren't disappointed. In 5 days of hunting I saw 40 bucks , 16 does and rattled in 10 different bucks. 2 days later Josh was able to fill his tag, too.

Jack, he's the longest deer I've taken. He measured 6' from nose to base of tail.

Yep, still shooting my Schafer. Iowa out fitter had a very strict wounding policy so I decided to hunt with my wheeled contraption. LOL
