Pulled into the office and overnight this guy dropped one in the flower bed right under my office window.

Hopefully you can keep track of that deer and see if the antler grows normally next year or non typical due to the depth of the pedicle that snapped.

Had a 150” 8 pointer lose both sides before Christmas. Thought he must have injured himself or was sick.
A week later I saw him during the January doe season 30 yards off the road... I about puked, looked healthy as a horse and huge bodied.
He was extremely easy to identify even 1/2 mile away…. Very light colored coat and had 2 bright white socks up to his front knees.
He blew up into a giant the next year.

I had a fully shed buck in front of me December 9th. He looked perfectly healthy. The area has very little agricultural and the browse this year has been lacking obviously, so I just figured it was stress-related to the drought.
