Sad, and preventable. Unfortunately, I don't think the accidents will ever stop so long as there is snow, booze, and snowmobiles.

We keep our sleds at the Edge Hotel and go north to Flatrock typically.

I’ve been breathalyzed twice at a checkpoint. We have no problem with that.

What percentage of these accidents are from visitors from south ?

My sleds are still sitting at the Edge Hotel and haven’t moved once all season. If I wasn’t traveling to Wisconsin this weekend I’d be there with my boys. Unfortunately next weekend my boys are hunting snow geese on Champlain. Not looking good for this season.

Terrible news about the fatalities but it doesn’t surprise me.

Squash, my kids and are are coming up this weekend. Assume the trails will be open? We're starting at the Edge and heading up to Flatrock and the Windfarm trails.

Pat, you will have a lot of company. We got anywhere from 1 to 3’ of snow depending on where you are. Temperatures are supposed to get into the 40’s except for the weekend so the snow may not last that long but this week should be the best this winter.

Thanks guys. I’m in Boonville but I keep my sled trailer at the Edge Hotel in Lyons Falls and we always head north to the Tug from there. This will be our first ride all winter.
