Two bidders with a lot of money wanted to go sheep hunting this fall. I guess having 2 good rams harvested on the auction and raffle tags didn't hurt. The auctioneer is a good supporter of the RMBS and Colorado and he mentioned the 200 6/8 ram that was killed by a public draw hunter on public land as well before the auction started.

I doubt the governor's holder is going to hunt the unit that 200 incher came from. Guys have been calling it a trash unit for years. You also can't spot rams from a road in there.

Average Joe that killed the 200+" or bought the auction tag?
If the latter, he's either not average or will be getting an envelope from his wife's attorney shortly :^)

Surely it was the gorgeous ram and handsome hunter in the advertisement that had all the ladies imploring their husbands to bid it up. LOL

When a tag sells like this it is good for sheep, and for all of you hunters that draw a sheep tag this year remember you just won a $320,000 lottery so make the most of your opportunity.
