Off season, in season I like to enjoy the occasional drink by the fire or outside on a cool summer night. Let’s here some of your favorite or go to beverages… me and another member were chatting about this earlier and it got my interested in making the post

Nothing better than good apple pie shine…. Had some before that you could taste the booze something awful. Have had others where it’s like drinking deliciousness and you never even knew there was alcohol in it

Wife & I just discovered a new one the other day, a Disaronno Mule. It's just Disaronno, and Ginger beer, and a little lime over ice. Delicious.

Hard to argue Jefferson’s reserve or ocean. Also discovered a great scotch Tullibardine 12. All 3 are in my cabinet right now.

By the fire , brandy. In warm weather, tequila on the rocks... doing Casamigos tequila and Remy XO at the moment. An accompanying cigar would be nice but not allowed in the house if you know what I mean. Not a mixed drink guy.

Homemade chocolate martinis. I take cacao nibs, put them into a mason jar then fill with vodka. I let it infuse for a week, then filter with cheesecloth and chill in the freezer. Put into martini glass and enjoy.

Fun to see how it tastes when it’s finished.

I also make wine and I enjoy some homemade red with friends too. Here’s a stash I made and bottled in recycled bottles.

My fav has killed more humans than probably any other drink, dihydrogen monoxide. It's vapors can burn your skin off. If drinking in high enough volume in one day it will kill you. Crazy stuff... But delish.

Jameson and Ginger ale, or an Old Fashioned with Jefferson's Reserve or Eagle Rare...Fistful of Bourbon does a really good job for its price point.

My drink of choice is also the one Will mentioned. I will often add a sodium chloride mixture to mine to achieve the full corrosive effects of the beverage.

Best 'sippin' ' tequila I've had so far is Casa Noble Anejo - so smooth it's scary. Normally drink Espolon, either straight or in a margarita. Next bottle on deck is Altos Anejo.
