I might be making the purchase of an rx7 on archery talk . It’s set to 29” draw . I’m a 30.25” draw . Would I need to buy the other mod? I have no clue about this

Here’s the cam on my RX7 Ultra. I have the #1 mods (27-30”) with a 30” draw length. The #2 mods are 30.5-32”. If you need that extra 1/4” of draw length, you can a put a couple twists in the cables. It will increase your draw weight a little bit, but will also lengthen your draw length. Just have to make sure your cams are in time and bow is tuned properly; you’ll be all set.

I’ve drew the ventum 33 and the Rx5. Very smooth. I know some people hate Mathew’s draw cycle but I don’t have an issue with it. I’d shoot either

RX7 Ultra draw is very smooth. Hardly any hump in the end when the cams break over.

Bat the yardages depend on your arrow speed. You put the corresponding tape on the wheel etc

BAT, yes, it’s the Dual Trac. I have my pins set at 20 and 35. You can move the second pin to whatever (within reason) you want. So if you wanted 20 and 30 or 20 and 40 you can do that with this sight. I like it. Just match up the sight tape with your FPS - or pretty close.
Lastly, you can get different pin colors. I got green and orange. And…. You can get .010 or .019 pin size. Very customizable. I also got the Picatinny mount.

Blood, I like my single pin with no clutter, it’s set on 25 and I never move it, just hold high or aim heart if needed, thinking that dual pin at 20 and 35 would be near and far (up to 40 yards). Do you ever loose focus with two pins or find it too cluttered?

BAT, I don’t even notice it. I like that it’s there in case a deer or elk spooks and stops out at 35-40 yards, I don’t have to guess where I hold my pin.
I’m sure you’ve done this, but with your pin at 25, if you go shoot at 15 and 35 and then 40 yards and center up your 25 at these distances, you’ll see how much drop your arrow has to keep you in the kill zone.
