Limited draw for public/private tags

I got an email about a proposed change to making the nonresident archery public/private land tags limited to 2200.
I have a couple questions. Would nonresidents still have an October 1 opening day?
Any idea how many nonresident public/private land tags were sold last year?

Michael, no need to pm me, I found the same information on SD game & Fish website. good luck on getting an archery tag.
