One of the black North Park wolves is hanging around Parshall. Rancher called the CPW and they came out and confirmed which one via GPS.
Odd situation. Wolf encounters make the news and prompt a call to the State. State says "Yeah, we knew".
I get not publishing real time location info but odd to call the authorities when something that has been doing damage and killing pets shows up at your place unexpectedly and they say "Yeah we knew they were headed there, knew they were in your back yard and know where they are now"

There should be a weekly update on the CPW website to let ranchers know where the packs are. Ranchers need to protect there livestock & property before an issue happens, especially during calving season.

RDHunts, That will never happen. That would require a level of trust between ranchers and CPW that doesn't exist.
