Governor Polis vetoed wolf reintroduction bill. Our governor has not taken in consideration 49% of our voters on the western slope. He is ignoring proper wildlife management by CPW, loss of livestock which ranchers will have, loss of our wildlife which Colorado has one of the best balance of wildlife herds. This is truly a disaster facing our state wildlife biologists, ranchers, backcountry users, on and on. Without the 10/J rule in effect it will be a sad day when they release wolves in Colorado.

There is a good chance that the 10J will be in place by the end of this year, per the Feds/CPW

The bill made sense but wouldn't have stopped the inevitable. Colorado's governor wants wolves ASAP, the Feds are onboard with intro, it's happening.
