I doubt it. Probably just a drop in temp or rain gets them riled up. Possibly a cow in early heat and that will fire them up. Ya never know though. I hope not, my hunt doesn’t start till the 15th.

Happens every year, whitetail, elk etc. The real rut starts about the same time every year, when the amount of daylight triggers it.

I hunted 5 days in the northern mountains close to mora/angelfire, heard 3 bugles. they should be on fire by this weekend with the cooler temps and the rain. They are probably screaming right now.
