Same here. Nothing big yet but the backs are starting to move. I’ve seen more movement during the daylight hours as well.

Seeing a lot of scrape activity. Small bucks pushing around on each other and nosing around some does. This cold front might get things moving. Killed a doe last night. Franklin County

Just got in from the woods. Most action I had was when I just got in the woods before daylight. Walked right up, 10 yards, on a nice 10pt making a rub. He didn’t have a clue I was there. There were 3 deer behind him that notice me and walked off but nothing spooked. After about 5 mins the buck started grunting and walked off after the others. Only saw one small deer after that from the stand. I think the full moon had them bedded up early. LOTS of scrape popping up everywhere. Things are warming up.

Was on stand this evening in Jackson County. The wind had them on edge. I had a small buck come right in under the stand and then proceed to make a rub. Back at it in the AM.

Activity has ground to a halt in south east Illinois. The excessive heat and wind Monday through Wednesday has resulted in practically no trail cam photos. Friends in Clark and Jasper counties reported limited movement. Cooler weather starting Thursday should really get things going.

When I was at the taxidermist he said the quality of bucks this year seem to be better than he’s ever seen. Looks like some nice deer hitting the ground. Congratulations to all of those who filled a tag. For those who haven’t there is still plenty of time.
