A bunch of years ago I made a ghillie suit (top and hat). I usually only wear it in Sept/Oct on cool days. It's been a couple years actually, since I've worn it. A year or two ago, I added leaves to break it up a bit, but have been wanting to add flo orange to be gun season legal. So just killing some time, maybe 15 minutes, I added some surveyors tape in Flo O. 420 inches, visible from all sides. I don't think the deer will mind at all. Turkeys and coyotes will see me....maybe. I have a spot I wanted to use it, but didn't want a Flo O vest on to cover it all up.

I think you could get in trouble with a GW if they were in a bad mood.
I got a verbal warning a few years back because I had a backpack and it covered my backside orange vest, he said he could of written me up for it

When cthuntingnshooting was up and running, there was a EnConn captain on the site. I specifically asked him if the 400'' had to be solid. He said no. The regs say 400". I even added an inch per strip for the knot. But yeah, they can always be unreasonable.

The regs say 400 square inches. To be clear....
