I got a heated vest a few seasons ago and it has been a game changer. I passed on a pair of Mobil Warming electric socks at Costco this fall for $70, but they are now marked down to $29.97 so I couldn't resist. In Costco lingo, the .97 means they are likely clearance, so I picked up a few pairs. Anyone have any experience using them?

Socks no, well not since 1980 using those square 9V batteries. I'm also curious how they work. I believe it's just "Hot" wires?

I use the Thermocell inserts that heat up pretty well.

I got some socks from Costco as a gift. I used them all fall on the high setting. You can barely feel any direct heat, but it made a huge difference and took the edge off. I liked them.

I use the socks that have a pouch for the heat pads (the 10 hour ones) and they’ve worked great for years. It definitely helps to have high quality boots too;1600 grams thinsulate at minimum for late season.

One last note, you want your boots to be a half-size to full size larger than your regular footwear; it’s air that provides insulation and you don’t want your foot to be tight and snug as you lose that benefit.

My feet sweat like crazy. Doesn’t matter what I do. Tried foot warmers and they get shut down quick when they get wet. The socks made a pretty good difference though.

Blood. Get a prescription for drysol antiperspirant for your feet. Works well. If I go for a run in the summer my clothes are soaked after but my socks stay dry.

Na8t, Which Costco? Checked Enfield, didn’t see them. I know exactly which ones you are talking about, was eyeballing them in the fall

I tried heated socks last year. Bought a pair on Amazon. They worked ok. Had a big ass battery for each. This year I can’t get the battery to charge. Oh well.

I picked up a pair of the heated Costco socks in December. They take the chill out, worked really well. They have 3 heat settings and can be adjusted through my phone.

Got my first pair of battery heated socks at Stars in Torrington when I was a kid. Loved that store.
