I've never really needed much more than a basic pin sight for my bow. However, I'm 65 now and the last couple years, my eyes are not treating me as well. I'm still good in daylight, but in the shade, cloudy days, or first half hour and last my pins are really blurry. I know technology has improved alot, so I imagine any newer sight will be better. But in your opinions, what is the brightest and easiest sight to keep from blurring up? I'd also be OK with a lighted sight, as long as it could be disabled. I hunt in Wyoming where lighted sights are legal, but also Colorado where they are not. Any thoughts or opinions would be welcomed.

63 here, same issues. Just purchased two Black Gold five pin fibers, and added the small light designed for them. Light goes on and off easily with one screw and is very bright IMO, but this is my only experience with lighted pins. Good luck!

Add a verifier, it should clear up your pins just right. If the target is blurry you can try a clarifier. This way you may not need a new sight. Im 61 and it worked for me. Good Luck

I’m 71, I went to an adjustable single pin. That’s helped my accuracy, a lot.

Verifier, especially if using multiple pins…

Brighter pins will actually make things worse. Star burst will just be enhanced. Verifier is the way to go.

Verifiers work great as long as it's not snowing or raining. Blew a shot a couple years ago on a elk due fogged up lens. Secondly mine was had to clean. Ended up taking my off .
